Windgear / Gearfreak is a watersports shop offering equipment from different international brands, with a strong connection to the watersports community.

I worked at Windgear / Gearfreak for 13 years, where I was involved in almost every part of the business.

From working with customers and suppliers to organising events and managing daily operations. Over the years, I learned a lot about running a business and working with people from different parts of the watersports industry.

My role & skills

My role covered many different areas, including office management, logistics, sales, marketing and working with suppliers.

I also worked closely with international brands, helping with product development and organising events.

Looking back, these 13 years have been an important part of my career. I learned to take responsibility, work independently and find solutions when things didn't go as planned.

A lot of what I learned during those years is still part of how I work today.
