Vrithink's Night Out is an international event organised by Vripack, a Dutch yacht design and engineering studio. The event brings together speakers from different backgrounds to share their stories, ideas and experiences.

After seven editions in Amsterdam, Vrithink's Night Out went international with an edition in Dubai.

This was the first edition I worked on. A new location meant working with new people and organising the event in a different setting.

The event brought together people from the worlds of design and business, with plenty of room to meet, connect and share ideas.

My role & skills

I was responsible for organising the Dubai edition, from the first plans and finding the right speakers to working with the different partners and teams involved.

Together with the team, I made sure everything was ready, from the programme and planning to the final details on location.

We also prepared another edition, but unfortunately had to cancel it shortly before the event due to COVID.

Not the outcome we had hoped for, especially after all the preparations, but sometimes things simply don't go as planned.
