Together with Ydwer, I organised several photography exhibitions, from the first ideas to making sure everything was ready for the opening.

Our first exhibition took place in 2017 on a smaller scale. In 2022, we organised a much bigger exhibition at Haldane's showroom in Cape Town, South Africa.

A year later, we brought Ydwer's photography to Kunsthuizen in Leiden, the Netherlands, this time in an art gallery.

Each location was different, which also meant finding the right way to present the photographs and making sure everything came together.

My role & skills

My role was to take care of the organisation, from the first plans and coordinating with the locations to setting everything up for the exhibitions.

I worked closely with Ydwer to make sure his photographs were presented the way we had in mind. This meant arranging the practical details, keeping track of the planning and making sure everything was ready on time.

What I enjoyed about these projects was working together to turn an idea into something people could actually come and see.
