The Young Solar Challenge is an educational project where secondary school students work in teams to design and build their own solar-powered boats.
They then race these boats in competitions, learning about sustainable technology, teamwork, and project management along the way.
My role & skills
Within Young Solar Challenge, I am involved in the organisation of the event and act as project lead for the RC Solar Class.
I am responsible for the setup and development of this class, working closely with the team to ensure everything runs smoothly. My role also includes overseeing communication and media, making sure social media across all channels is managed by the media team.
The Solar Journaal is an example of a format we developed over the past seasons.
